On the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivaratri 2026, Mrs. Sarojini Prabhakaran (Born: 6 December 1981), Founder and Artistic Director of Nithyaa Lakshmi Fine Arts Vidhyalaya, Chennai, orchestrated a spiritually powerful and culturally historic event by presenting the World’s First Shiva Trishul and Damaru Human Formation through the classical dance form of Bharatanatyam.
Held on 14 February 2026 at the sacred premises of Arulmigu Karpagambal Udanurai Kailasanathar Temple, PH Road, Vanagaram, Chennai – 95, the event beautifully blended devotion, discipline, rhythm, and unity.
The formation symbolized:
🔱 Trishul (Trident) – representing divine power, protection, and the three fundamental energies
🥁 Damaru – symbolizing cosmic rhythm and the creation of the universe
💠 Unity through synchronized classical dance
🕉️ Preservation of Indian spiritual and cultural heritage
A sacred Thiruvasagam Recitation elevated the spiritual ambiance, invoking the blessings of Lord Shiva and enriching the devotional atmosphere.
This extraordinary achievement was officially recognized and registered by Seventh Sense World Records, marking a milestone in the history of Bharatanatyam and devotional group formations.
