One Crore Thumb Impressions Dr. Jayalalitha 71st Birthday

A Grand Tribute to the Iron Lady of Tamil Nadu – Successfully Completed

On the occasion of Dr. J. Jayalalithaa's 70th birthday, a historic and heartfelt tribute was organized to honor her legacy and iconic leadership. Held on 24th February 2019 at the Dr. Jayalalitha Basketball Indoor Stadium, Kilpauk, Tamil Nadu, this grand event united people in a symbolic gesture of admiration and identity. The highlight of the celebration was a massive portrait created entirely from thumb impressions—truly a one-of-a-kind tribute.

Seventy talented students gathered to craft a 7 feet tall and 70 feet wide portrait of "Amma" using only their thumb impressions, representing the deep connection between the people of Tamil Nadu and their beloved leader. This portrait wasn't just art—it was a statement of devotion, identity, and remembrance. The face of Jayalalithaa, who had long been a symbol of strength and identity for the state, emerged powerfully through the collective effort of the youth.

The event also saw the remarkable initiative of collecting one crore thumb impressions across India, further immortalizing Amma’s influence and public affection. This extraordinary tribute was organized with great success by MayaaEventzMakerz, Nmkfoi Organization, and Esteem Entertainments. The event stands as a proud moment in the hearts of Tamil Nadu’s people and an everlasting homage to a leader who transformed the lives of millions.
