Balya Raksha – The World’s Largest Human Dove Formation Through Bharatanatyam is a landmark world record achievement dedicated to the protection and welfare of children. Conceived and led by Guru K. N. Keerthana Priya, founder of Rudra Rhythm Nadanalaya, Dharmapuri, this extraordinary initiative used the classical Indian dance form Bharatanatyam as a medium to convey a powerful social message.
The record was successfully accomplished on 01 February 2026, as part of the 77th Republic Day celebrations, at Sri Venkateswara Polytechnic College, Dharmapuri. More than 500 dedicated Bharatanatyam students came together to create a visually stunning and meaningful human dove formation, symbolizing peace, hope, unity, and a safe future for every child.
Through this artistic expression, Balya Raksha strongly conveyed the messages “Stop Violence Against Children” and “A True Republic Protects Its Children.” The event highlighted how art and culture can serve as powerful tools for social awareness and positive change, inspiring communities to stand up for child rights and protection.
This historic achievement has been officially recognized and registered by Seventh Sense World Records, marking it as the world’s largest human dove formation performed through Bharatanatyam.
Balya Raksha stands as a proud testament to discipline, unity, cultural heritage, and the collective responsibility of society to nurture and safeguard its children.
